Postponed: New Networks for Nature 2020 at UEA

Nature Matters: Life at All Scales

Please see the website for full conference details.

We are very sorry that in light of current events concerning the coronavirus we are postponing New Networks for Nature. The conference will NOT now take place in the July as originally planned. However, we have rescheduled the event to take place on 13th, 14th and 15th November instead (Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime) in Norwich.

This change means we are unable to hold the event on campus at UEA, but we are delighted to be working with one of the country’s top venues in Norwich – the National Centre for Writing – to host us on the new dates. The conference this year will still be a collaboration between UEA and New Networks for Nature. In fact, the Faculty of Humanities at UEA has a special partnership with the National Centre for Writing and holds many of its events in their Medieval Dragon Hall venue.

We have closed the original registration page and will refund any tickets already sold. We hope to reopen registration in the late summer. Please refer to the New Networks for Nature website later for updates. We appreciate your patience while we make these alternative arrangements and we look forward to welcoming you to Norwich in November.

We are also aware that there is a possibility that events may even take over this much later date and if this is the case then we will take the necessary measures in good time, but we feel that we must do everything we can to ensure that 2020 has its annual New Networks for Nature!

We do hope you will be able to join us.

Jos Smith, Jean McNeil & John Fanshawe

Home to more than fifty years of internationally leading creative writing and environmental science, UEA is proud to be hosting New Networks for Nature in the summer of 2020 (10th-12th July). New Networks is an annual conference bringing together the arts, sciences and conservation communities to encourage fresh ideas and collaborations concerned with the ‘cultures of nature’.

Please see the website for full conference details.
