Jeremy Munday is Reader in Translation Studies at the University of Leeds, UK.
His research interests include translation theory, discourse and text analysis applied to translation, and the application of corpus-based tools to the contrastive analysis of language. His publications include Introducing Translation Studies (Routledge, 2001/2008), Style and Ideology in Translation: Latin American writing in English (Routledge, 2008), The Routledge Companion to Translation Studies (Routledge, 2009) and, as co-author with Basil Hatim, Translation: An advanced resource book (Routledge, 2004).
He is Chair of the publications committee of the International Association of Translation and Intercultural Studies (IATIS).
