Lewis graduated from his LLB at the University of East Anglia in 2016 with First Class Honours. 

He is currently undertaking an LLM by Research and the working title of his thesis is 'Does Separation Mean Independence? A Comparison of the Supreme Courts in the U.K., U.S. and Russia'.

As well as researching, Lewis has worked with Clapham and Collinge Solicitors in Norwich and volunteered with the Norfolk Youth Offending Team.

Lewis was published in the 2016 Strathclyde University Student Law Review. His title piece was 'Judicial Activism and its Place in Normative Ideological and Politicization Theories.'

Key Research Interests

Lewis is interested in constitutional law and has researched all three jurisdictions through his undergraduate studies. His overall interests are: symmetric and asymmetric federalism; what influences judges in their decision making; and how the tripartite institutions of the legal system interact.
