Keren Wu is a lecturer in international commercial and maritime law. She obtained LLB in Shanghai Maritime University (China), LLM in University of Southampton. Afterwards, Keren furthered her research in insurance law at PhD level in University of Southampton and in her final year, she transferred to King's College London. Keren's PhD reseach focuses on the interpretation of triggering clauses in treaty reinsurance.
Before joining UEA Law School in 2017, Keren has taught LLM Marine Insurance at Law School of University of Southampton and assisted in teaching International Commercial Law for KCL summer school, while doing and finalising her PhD research.
Keren's main research interest is in insurance and reinsurance law, international commercial sale, carriage of goods by sea and contract law.
