In your first few days your manager will introduce you to your area of work and your new colleagues. Your manager will provide you with information about the University, clarify the requirements and objectives of your new role, and discuss any immediate training or development activities. For some roles, new members of staff are assigned a mentor or buddy who will help guide you into your new role and life on campus. More information on working life at UEA can be found here.

The Centre for Staff and Educational Development invites all new members of staff to an Introductory Conference with presentations from a range of UEA departments and an introduction to campus facilities.
