This rotational post within the Acquired Brain Injury Group offers Band 5 Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists the opportunity to work with the team on a variety of research projects; expanding knowledge of research and its carry-over into clinical
The 8 month post is split for both professions; spending 2.5 days working in research and 2.5 days working in a related clinical setting. The post offers a variety of opportunities on a wide range of projects – from screening for participants' to completing baseline assessments and delivering interventions. Dedicated time is given to Continuing Professional Development (CPD); where the therapists' are given the opportunity to explore specifics areas of research with the most appropriate members of the team. Some of these therapists have now taken up full-time research posts within the group.
