Key Research Interests

The Hand Nerve Disorders Study - The HaND Study

Nerve disorders of the hand can have a significant impact on a person’s ability to carry out daily life tasks. To evaluate the effectiveness of treatments for this condition, patients are often asked to complete questionnaires. There are currently no questionnaires that look specifically at the impact of nerve disorders on hand function and activities of daily living. This mixed methods observational research study therefore aims to develop one.  The project will involve three stages, the first two resulting in the development of a questionnaire.  The final stage will involve validation of the questionnaire’s psychometric properties.
