The 2019 Environmental Justice Conference 'Transformative Connections' was held at University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK on 2 July - 4 July 2019.

The conference was hosted by UEA’s Global Environmental Justice group, with support from colleagues on our advisory board. The primary focus of the conference was connections between environmental justice and transformations to sustainability, with three main conference themes relating to connections across scales, movements and worldviews. We were delighted to welcome four keynote speakers who span the academic and activist perspectives of environmental justice.

You can find conference resources on the links below, including:

The Global Environmental Justice Group would like to thank the keynote speakers, conference presenters and delegates their contributions to this conference. We would also like to thank the support team at UEA including UEA Conferences, The Enterprise Centre and School of International Development and Student Helpers for making the event a success.
