Infinite change within public sector organisations: praxis information and beyond

Prof Sally Hardy - School of Health Sciences

Lecture Theatre, Julian Study Centre, UEA

Free, no need to book

There is unrelenting change taking place across health and education sectors on a global scale. Such high levels of change are a contributor to the significant numbers of highly trained professionals actively leaving their jobs in pursuit of an alternative, less stressful career choice. More sobering still is the number of suicides amongst professional groups working in the health care sector, and an increased reporting of high level of stress and burnout in academic communities. Join Prof Hardy as she provides oversight, and insight, in the understanding of the ways in which change can affect those immersed within these organisations.

Inaugural lectures recognise and celebrate the promotion of UEA academics to the position of professor, whilst giving audiences the chance to hear about their research and its impact on society. These lectures are free and open to all, and there's no need to book; simply turn up on the night, or watch live via YouTube. Each lecture is followed by a free drinks reception, with a chance to meet the speaker and ask them questions about their research.
