Asher Minns is a radar engineer who became specialised in science communication and knowledge transfer of climate change research to audiences that are outside of academia. He has 15 years experience of environmental science communication combined with seven years of research centre management. Asher is interdisciplinary with a humanities Master’s in Science Communication, a BSc in Environmental Biology, and a qualified engineer. His science communication career has spanned Imperial College, Oxford University, and the Tyndall Centre for Change Research, where he currently also leads the engagement of EU FP7 HELIXclimate.eu (High-end cLimate, Impacts and Extremes) and H2020 CRESCENDO (the new generation of Earth System Models - (website coming soon).
