UEA’s new Institute of Productivity
UEA’s £7.4 million pound state-of-the-art Institute of Productivity East will deliver a new regional hub for engineering, technology and management.
At the heart of the Productivity East are the engineers of the future. This new institute will support businesses in our region by enabling them to work alongside our world class researchers and students to discover practical solutions to current and future challenges. Our students, academics and businesses will be able to explore together new ideas, to develop prototype designs and create innovative products and services.
As well as UEA investment, the Institute benefits from a grant of £4.5m from the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership for Norfolk and Suffolk. The New Anglia Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering (NAAME) and TechEast industry sector groups will be key delivery partners within the Productivity East.
