Pensions, health and wellbeing of older people in low and middle income countries
Between 2010 and 2050 the number of people aged 60 and over is set to increase by one and a quarter billion, and 81% will be in low and middle income countries. We urgently need to identify policies that will promote the health, economic security and wellbeing of older people in poorer countries. Drawing on a major new international survey, we examined a number of issues of critical relevance to policy-makers.
