Since 2009, DEV has provided research support, advice and consultancy to a range of projects on climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction in Vietnam. These relate to climate change impacts, vulnerability and adaptive response at a national level and in regions of the north, centre and south of the country. Specific projects have included:

‘Capacity building and international cooperation partnerships on health impacts of climate change, resilience and policy implications' (2012-13)

‘Heat stress and adaptive capacity of low-income outdoor workers and their families in Da Nang' (2012)

‘Strengthening institutional capacity for disaster risk management in Vietnam including climate change related disasters' (2010-11)

‘Community-based adaptation to climate change and policy linkages in Thua Thien - Hue province' (2009-11)

‘Adaptive capacity and resilience of local communities in Quang Tri' (2009-10)

‘Interpretation of Results of HCVA in relation to building Climate Change Resilience in three Vietnamese cities' (2009)

‘Climate Change Adaptation in Ha Giang' (2009).
