The course offers in-depth learning in your chosen field of specialisation, which will constitute your major and be selected from subjects within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. This is then complemented by the study of subjects alongside it, which will constitute your minor and be selected from subjects within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, the Faculty of Social Sciences, or the Faculty of Science. If you are looking for the freedom to follow your interests and passions, wherever these might take you, then Liberal Arts at UEA will be for you. You have the option to take your third year abroad in Australasia, Canada, United States or Europe, by studying on the BA Liberal Arts with a Year Abroad. This option will bring even more breadth and depth to your studies, giving you an invaluable academic and cultural experience. Alternatively, on the BA Liberal Arts with a Placement Year you will spend your third year on a placement.
This will give you first-hand knowledge of how your chosen field operates, and a competitive edge to progress within that sector thanks to the relevant work experience, valuable contacts, and real-world insight you will gain.
