This module will provide you with the means to develop a professional recognition portfolio that demonstrates your skills, knowledge and behaviours through a series of reflections, self-assessment and engagement with research, that advances your role in practice. This learning will reflect the four pillars of advanced practice: clinical practice, research, education and Management/leadership. You will also demonstrate the underpinning principles of advanced practice: autonomous practice, critical thinking, high levels of decision-making and problem-solving and values-based care.
This module advances your professional development by drawing on the four pillars of advanced practice: management and leadership, education, research and advanced clinical practice. It reinforces the core principle that advanced practice is a level of practice rather than a particular role.
