It offers you regular and focused support through this first year of employment. As an NQSW you will work towards a 40 credit Masters module alongside your day to day practice as a new worker. The ASYE programme and module fit with the requirements of the Professional Capabilities Framework for social work and the Knowledge and Skills statements.
The module is for NQSWs in all sectors.
SUPPORT THROUGH THE YEAR

You will also receive a UEA on-line workbook including detailed guidance, reading and learning activities. There will also be two and a half seminar days led by UEA staff and you will have access to on-line resources via Blackboard and the library.
The learning for the module focuses on critical reflection and the integration of knowledge , skills and values with practice. The teaching will be informed by the Key Skills Statements for both Children and Families and Adult Social Work. The module is also informed by the holistic assessment required by the Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF) Domains at the level of the first year of employment.
