Important Information

Whilst the University will make every effort to offer the modules listed, changes may sometimes be made arising from the annual monitoring and review of modules. Where this activity leads to significant change to a programme and modules, the University will endeavour to consult with affected students. The University may not be able to offer a module for reasons outside of its control, such as the illness of a member of staff. Availability of optional modules may be restricted owing to timetabling, lack of demand, or limited places. Prepare to be a leader in business with a Master’s designed for the business innovators of tomorrow.  Good management means being able to see problems from every perspective, and understanding that there might not always be a single right answer. On this course you’ll study a range of business disciplines and learn to handle such complexities.  You will study the science of management from an evidence-based perspective and discover what works in the field of management and why. You’ll learn to critically analyse existing theories, and develop and propose solutions of your own.  This is a research-based Master’s so a background in business is essential. You might be coming straight from undergraduate study, or you may have worked in industry for a time since graduating. Many of our students have worked in - or aspire to go on to work in - their family businesses.
