MBA MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Assessment for Year 1
You will be assessed using a variety of individual coursework, which applies theory to practice; examinations; individual professional discussion; and group work (presentations and written reports).
Important InformationWhilst the University will make every effort to offer the modules listed, changes may sometimes be made arising from the annual monitoring and review of modules. Where this activity leads to significant change to a programme and modules, the University will endeavour to consult with affected students. The University may not be able to offer a module for reasons outside of its control, such as the illness of a member of staff. Availability of optional modules may be restricted owing to timetabling, lack of demand, or limited places. Where this is the case, you will be asked to make alternative module choices and you will be supported during this process.

Additional entry requirements
A candidate’s work experience is highly significant and we are looking for applicants with a minimum of three years in a managerial, professional or entrepreneurial role and with experience of managing a team or project. We will look carefully at your CV when assessing your suitability for our MBA programme, so you are strongly encouraged to include as much detail as possible about the responsibilities and tasks for each role and the skills you have developed from these. If your CV does not sufficiently evidence your work experience, then we may not be able to progress your application.
In addition, candidates should normally possess one of the following:
First or second class honours degree, or international equivalent, or;
Relevant postgraduate diploma, or;
Qualification from a professional body recognised by UEA.
Applicants who do not hold a first degree or equivalent will be considered on the basis of their business and managerial experience, their career to date, and their likelihood of benefiting from the course. The final decision is at the discretion of the MBA Course Leader.
