Offered over three years the MSc Advanced Clinical Practitioner Degree Apprenticeship here at UEA meets the standards set out by the Institute for Apprenticeships. It requires you to hold current registration with one of the statutory regulators of health care and it will take 36 months to complete.
You must be able to demonstrate the values and behaviours expected of a professional clinical practitioner and you will work in partnership with your Trust and the UEA to meet the requirements set out within the programme.
Your programme of study will culminate in the final year when you will provide a service improvement proposal and, following a progression meeting, it will be decided whether you have met the mandatory aspects of the occupational standard of the programme.
If you meet these ‘gateway’ expectations you will be put forwards for your ‘End-Point assessment’ (EPA) where you will be given the opportunity to demonstrate your occupational competency ready for your role as a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner.
