The CHIPPs team

CHIPPS is a five-year National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) research programme into medicines management in care homes which is being carried out in four sites: Norfolk, Yorkshire, Grampian and Northern Ireland.  The ultimate aim of the programme is to determine the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of pharmacist independent prescribing in care homes.

The programme started in May 2015 and consists of six work packages, over the following five years. Consequently, the website will expand as the programme embarks on each additional work package.
