About the Ambassador Scheme

The Ambassador scheme and the students participating in it, are key to all Recruitment and Outreach activities. First year students to postgraduate students are employed on the scheme, ranging in age, background, cultures and motivations for joining.

Students have the opportunity to engage and participate in an extensive range of projects and activities. These include working with pre university age students in schools, on campus and at various locations around the country. Mentoring local students, working on one of our residential summer schools and helping with university open days. Ambassadors are also involved with helping with administrative and office based projects.

The skills, knowledge and confidence gained from being an Ambassador is amazing and is instrumental in the transition from university to the working world.
