Have you got a project you don't have the resources to complete or could you use a fresh perspective? Recruiting an ambitious and enthusiastic intern from UEA is a great way to get that help and fresh thinking you need.
Perhaps you are struggling to recruit? This is a great opportunity to see an intern in action.
Internships are a proven way to get help with a project, launch a new initiative or even bridge the staffing gap over a holiday period. Typical activities include marketing, research, social media, IT, project management, events, PR, carbon reduction projects or lab support. You can also help to kickstart the career of a UEA student, giving them valuable workplace experience and increasing their confidence in a working environment whilst benefiting your organisation with the possibility of recruiting a new member of staff.
Hosting an intern is cost effective, and prices for student internships are usually based on the National Minimum Wage. You can secure a current UEA student to work part-time during semester time, or full or part-time during holiday periods outside of semester time - for example, during the Summer. Our internships are straightforward to set up with minimal paperwork - we do much of the work for you.

To meet this demand we have a 1st February 2016 deadline for submitting Summer Internship opportunities which culminates in our 9th March recruitment event. This is a lively event which gives you the chance to interview all of your chosen candidates in one afternoon.
We can also facilitate internships closer to the summer break if this is easier for you, but get in touch now to discuss how you can recruit a student intern and ensure your opportunity receives maximum exposure from the most ambitious students.
