Gateway to Growth is a project run by CareerCentral and provides additional support for UEA graduates who have decided to stay in the region but who are struggling to find the right opportunity for them.
This support comprises:
1-1 appointments with our Graduate Development Officer. These are 45 minutes and give you the chance to discuss anything and everything career-related that you need advice and guidance on. Norfolk Grad Connect. These interactive sessions are here to help graduates maximise their chances in the job market. Our Graduate Development Officer – a qualified and multiple award-winning careers adviser – will work with you and other graduates as a team. Overcome your own job-hunting difficulties with the help of both your peers and a specialist in the field. Using a technique known as ‘action learning’, this workshop is a chance to join forces with other UEA graduates and an expert facilitator to work on solving the problems that you’re facing after graduation. LinkedIn Learning access. We've partnered with LinkedIn Learning to provide you with exclusive access to on-demand courses in loads of areas, including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, interview skills, project management and teamwork skills. You can request a 6-week licence and can complete as many courses as you like within that time frame. Check out the courses on offer and request your licence.

Graduate Assistance Fund. This fund has been developed to enable eligible graduates to apply for a fund of up to £500 to support them find and start a job with a Norfolk-based employer. The G2G Assistance Fund seeks to support reasonable expenses incurred in participating in a range of employability activities such as; interview expenses, travel costs or equipment for home working.
