Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion activities are coordinated by the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

The committee includes academic and administrative staff, post-doctoral research associates, undergraduate and postgraduate students, and professionals from Human Resources.

We discuss matters relating to gender, race, religion, and disability within the School and use a range of data and feedback from students and staff to identify areas for improvement.

Mentoring in the School of Engineering

All staff in the School of Engineering are entitled to have a mentor. If you would like to be assigned a mentor, please contact eng.fps@uea.ac.uk.

There is also opportunity for mentoring or coaching outside the School. Find out more about the UEA Coaching Scheme. (You will need a UEA log-in to access this page)

All RAs (Research Associates) are entitled to a mentor in addition to their PI (Principal Investigator). If you would like to be assigned a mentor, please contact eng.fps@uea.ac.uk.
