In the mathematics department at UEA the phd students enjoy coming together during term-time to give weekly talks to each other on the area of mathematics they are working in. It is a great opportunity to practice talks, and to find out more about people. This year we are going to try to get some phd students from other universities to come in and explain their views in their subject. In previous years Stuart has organised the talks and you can find the relevant webpage http://www.uea.ac.uk/~crd06wpu/postgrad.htm.
Slides for the talks will be linked to the titles whenever they are available.
