The Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model is a mesoscale numerical weather prediction model that has been designed for both research and operational forecasting needs. It features two dynamical cores, 3-dimensional data assimilation capability and a myriad of different physics options. The model has only recently been implimented at UEA, and so it is the purpose of this website to act as a resource to help those who use it.
