Research

My main interest is in fluid mechanics. Topics of particular interest include
low Reynolds number flow, thin film flow, electrified flow, biological flows,
multi-layer flows with surfactant, and hydroelastic waves.

If you are interested in doing a PhD in one of these topics (or a related topic)
please get in touch. Specific projects, including one on bubble mobilisation
can be found here. See also the pages on electrified film flow and
mathematical biology
