There are so many tools available online that can give you information on what's on your patch and why it's important. The problem is that there are so many that it's difficult to know where best to go and how to pull it all together! What the briefcase seeks to do is not only to tell you where all of these sites are, but give you step by step instructions on how to get the best out of all of the resources so that you can pull together a definitive list and map of everything in your locality including: wildlife conservation areas; landscape; historical assets; archaeology, habitats; walks; and more! Everything in the briefcase is arranged in a series of steps aimed at producing a Parish action plan and other documentation that is endorsed by the community - but that doesn't mean you can't dip into the appropriate bits to find out more about what's around you.
