Either you or Keith have to make a code of 4 pegs from the eight available. If you are guessing, start filling the holes at the bottom row with pegs, and each time you have completed a guess (i.e. filled all four holes) click the 'Check This Row' button, Keith will respond by giving you one peg for each correct colour - black if your guess was also in the right place, otherwise white. Now all you have to do is keep guessing until you work out the code. If it is Keith's turn to guess, create a code at the top of the page and then click the 'Ask Keith To Make A Guess' button.

NB: this is only a poor simulation of the Tovey brain and so can, on occasion, be beaten.
