Research Interests

I am an applied ecologist with a primary interest in wetland ecology, particularly in its application to avian conservation. My current research is varied, but principally involves examining the consequences of environmental change, particularly climate change, on wetlands and waterbirds. Previously, I worked on East African papyrus Cyperus papyrus swamps. Further details here.
