Qualifying Programmes

UEA’s social work courses are accredited professional qualifications which enable you to become a registered social worker. We offer two routes:

The BA in Social Work is a 3 year, full-time undergraduate programme.

The MA in Social Work is a two-year, full-time programme for graduates with at least a 2:2 degree.

Social work is a challenging, stimulating and rewarding profession. The course combines university teaching and practice placements, giving rich opportunities for intellectual and personal development, and for you to gain knowledge and skills to help you help other people.

Graduates may also be interested in the Graduate Trainee Scheme.
