Do I need to book for the Open Days?

Yes you will need to book online and indicate which subjects you are interested in.  Further information about our Open Day is in the programme.

Can I amend or cancel my booking online?

You do not need to contact us to amend or cancel your open day booking.  This can be done by following these instructions:

To Cancel Your Booking

  • Go to www.uea.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/visit
  • Select  the open day date you registered for
  • Enter your username and password and then click sign in
  • The my events/interviews tab shows you the events you are registered to attend
  • In the action column click decline, your booking has now been cancelled

To Amend You Booking

  • Go to www.uea.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/visit
  • Select the new date on which you wish to attend
  • Enter your username and password and then click sign in
  • Click on the my events/interviews tab 
  • Decline the original open day booking made in the actions column
  • Click on the search button 
  • On the starts on drop down menu select 'Within 1 year'
  • Click search
  • Select the new event you would like to register for
  • Click register in the right hand column
  • Check all of the information is correct
  • Click register
  • You will then be registered for your new event

If you have any problems cancelling or changing your event booking please do not hesitate to contact us.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Please remember to print off and bring your registration confirmation email which includes your unique enquiry number.  Don't worry if you cannot locate this email, you will be able to complete a new registration form at our reception desk.

We also recommend that you bring a strong bag with you to place your leaflets and brochures into as well as a pen and paper.  It may also be advisable to print off our travel information to help you find your way to the University.  

You may want to print off a copy of the open day programme in advance (available nearer the time), however we will have additional copies available at the registration desks on the day.  

Will I be sent a hard copy of the open day programme in advance?

To reduce our carbon footprint we will not be sending out copies of the open day programme in advance.  You can download a PDF of the programme nearer the time, and printed programmes will be available on the day.

Where shall I report to on arrival?

Upon arrival we ask you to make your way to our registration desk situated in the Hive.  Here you will be able to register your attendance by handing in your booking confirmation email or completing a registration form.  Our students will be on hand to help you find your way. 

Is there anywhere to eat on campus?

We have a good selection of catering outlets located on campus serving hot drinks, snacks, sandwiches and much more.  Further information including the opening times will be available in the open day programme.
