Tuition Fees - 2012 entry

For degree courses starting in 2012, the University of East Anglia will be charging a tuition fee of £9,000 a year for UK/EU undergraduates. This fee has been confirmed by the Office For Fair Access (OFFA).This is not an upfront cost; there is a Tuition Fee Loan available.

The fee income we receive is used to enhance students' academic and social experience by investing in the quality of teaching and research, student services and a range of academic facilities. It also helps us to provide a range of initiatives to support access for all to higher education.

Students spending a year abroad only pay 50% of their fees for that year. Students spending a year in industry as part of their degree will only pay £900 for that year.

Eligible students studying Medicine will have their fifth year fees covered by the NHS. Please see the NHS website for further information.

Tuition Fee Loan

Full time UK and EU students can obtain a Tuition Fee Loan from the Government to cover the cost of their course. The fee is paid directly to the university on your behalf and is administered by Student Finance England. You can borrow the full fee, part of the fee or none of the fee each year of your study.
