University of East Anglia - GREAT Scholarships 2018 – China


This year, in partnership with the British Council China and the GREAT Britain Campaign, the University of East Anglia will be offering five £5,400 (GBP) scholarships to Chinese students applying for postgraduate courses in all subjects. 


In order to support more Chinese students to study in the UK, the British Council, together with 31 UK universities, has launched the GREAT Scholarships 2018 – China campaign. With 145 postgraduate scholarships on offer, the total value of the scholarship scheme is nearly £1 million. This new scholarship scheme will offer an exciting opportunity for Chinese students wishing to get financial support to pursue postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for postgraduate courses in subjects including engineering, law, business, art and design, biosciences, IT and more, at 31 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Eligibility

Any applicant who has received an offer on one of any* postgraduate taught programmes with an average mark of at least 80% - 85%, will be eligible to apply. Please note that the scholarship awarded will be dependent on your submission of application form as well as on the basis of academic merit.


*Any self-funded international fee paying Chinese national or any national domiciled in China, who is self-funded with overseas fee status.

Applications for 2018 entry are now open. Please note that the closing date for the Scholarship is 12:00 noon (UK time) on 15 February 2018.
