Middle Eastern Student Ambassador
Hello, my name is Habiba and I study psychology at UEA. I chose UEA because I wanted to understand behaviour and the human mind within an internationally renowned, and research-oriented teaching model in a multicultural environment. Additionally, UEA is a top-ranked university that excels at bringing academic rigor and student satisfaction together.
My academic life at UEA has been wonderful. As an international student you get a lot of support from the ISAT team, Student Support Services, not to mention your seminar leaders and lecturers, everyone is always happy to help. However, the course does involve plenty of independent study and critical thinking, which offers a nice balance. UEA lets you tailor your degree based on your interests, an additional benefit not offered by many universities. This allows you to specialize in your field of interest early on.
Apart from academics, my life at UEA is thrilling. I got the opportunity to meet and work with so many people from different backgrounds, which is very interesting. I have also joined many societies here on campus, which keep me busy most of the time. When I am not busy attending socials, I love exploring the beautiful city of Norwich.
So far being a student at UEA has been everything I wished for and more. So, if like me you value a first-class education as much as the experience the university provides, then UEA would definitely be the perfect place for you.
