About the UEA Staff Association
The UEA Staff Association is open to all staff to join.
Social events and outings are organised throughout the year by the Association's Social Committee, which include quizzes, bingo, day trips to cities, stately homes, gardens, shows, shopping centres and more, and weekend trips which in the past have included Newcastle, Bath, Dublin and Disneyland Paris.
A newsletter and events calendar, known as SAM, is issued a number of times throughout the year advertising events organized by the Staff Association Social Committee and other relevant items. These details can also be found on this web site.
All Committee members are UEA staff who volunteer their time to undertake the roles within the Staff Association, and new Committee members are always welcomed each year at the AGM (generally held in November).

to join his new 5-a-side Football Teams. At this stage they are just collecting names but if there is enough interest we’ll be looking at adding this to our list of UEA Staff Association supported sports.
