Work space is available to full-time research students in the Faculty of Social Sciences to provide a quiet working area. Currently, these are situated as below:
School of Development Studies – workspaces are made available to all first year students in the first instance and other students where possible. These are allocated by Amanda Dorr, DEV Faculty Manager. There is a dedicated DEV PGR Suite on Floor 2 of the ARTS1 building.
School of Education & Lifelong Learning – a hot-desking facility is available in the EDU Building, within the Centre for Applied Research in Education (CARE) on Floor 1. Please contact Dawn Corby for further information.
School of Economics – desks are allocated by Gina Neff, Head of School Secretary. There is a dedicated ECO PGR Suite on Floor 1 of the ARTS1 building.
School of Social Work & Psychology – desks are allocated by local support in the School (please contact the General Office). These will be in the Elizabeth Fry building.
School of Law – A postgraduate research students’ study room is normally available in Earlham Hall and students should contact Helen Spurrell, PA to the Head of School. However due to the structural repairs currently being carried out there, LAW PGR students are able to use the PGR study centre on Floor 01 of ARTS1 Building. Please contact the PGR Office for this in room EFB 2.30 as they are responsible for use of this room – Colleen Clayton.
Norwich Business School – a dedicated room is available for research students on Floor 01 of the EDU Building. These are allocated by Samantha Wright, PA to the Head of School.
