Professional Culture Conflicts This project's aim is to establish a dialogue between the project/UEA and influential practitioners in eg social care, education and health. Recent work by this project’s co-proposers (The Transformation of Adult Social Care, Brown T. & Higham B. Social Enterprise East of England Research & Information paper, 2010) indicates a significant gap between the rhetorical commitment to ‘radical change to culture and practice,’ and the reality of change on the ground. The purpose of this project is to better understand the issues which contribute to this gap, so that practical suggestions can be made to improve professional performance.
