Fellowships in the Faculty Fellowships in the Faculty

The UEA Faculty of Social Sciences invites applications from ambitious and talented researchers to join us as Research Fellows.

The scholars across our seven Schools of study form a vibrant community, in which we bring together teams from across disciplines around projects ranging from fundamental research through applied work with impact on society in the UK and internationally.

Our internationally recognised research centres, the Centre for Competition Policy, Centre for Behavioural and Experimental Social Science, Centre for Research on Children and Families and the Water Security Research Centre, embody our interdisciplinary ethos and are ideally placed to support Fellows in developing novel and innovative research programmes.

The Faculty can help support you in preparing your application, by:

  • Introducing you to relevant academic staff who are leaders in your research area;
  • Advising on different funding schemes and their suitability to your career stage;
  • Providing feedback on drafts of your proposal;
  • Assisting in the costing of your proposal and planning budgets.
