If you need to speak to someone URGENTLY about your mental health or someone you are concerned about, do not delay in seeking help.  Contact your medical centre or attend the Accident and Emergency department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

You can get in touch with the Student Wellbeing Team directly, or someone who knows you can make initial contact on your behalf, either by coming in to Reception at the Dean of Students' Office (Upper Street, opposite Waterstones Bookshop), by telephoning 01603 592761 or by email.

The service is usually available Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm.

You will be offered an initial appointment, usually within 5 days.  Further information and resources will soon be available on this website.  Please note that we are re-designing the entire site for the start of the new year so a lot of content is not yet available.  If you have any questions or need advice then please contact us directly using the methods above.

*NEW* The Student Wellbeing Team has a NEW film about support available to UEA students with wellbeing issues.  To view the film, click on the image below.
