The International Student Advisory Team are friendly and helpful staff who are here to support international students at UEA. All members of the International Student Advisory Team are based in the Dean of Students' Office.

There are a number of ways that you can access the International Student Advisory Team services.

Our website is filled with useful information on many topics devoted to help international students and the services provided by the ISA Team, it is updated regularly to provide you with the most recent and relevant information.Book an Appointment
Appointments are available to talk about concerns you may have regarding personal, welfare, or immigration issues. Appointments are normally 15 minutes long, and if necessary the advisor will book another, longer appointment for another day. If you think you will need more than 15 mintues, let us know when you are booking your appointment.
How to Book an Appointment
You will need to contact the Dean of Students' Office in advance to book an appointment. This can be done:

The International Student Advisory Team offer visa and immigration support. If you need to apply for a new visa, please read the the Visa Support pages on this website. You will find all the information and requirements about applying for your visa. You can also find contact times for help with applying for a Tier 4 student visa.

Who We Are
Jane Amos (Head of International Student Advisory Team) - Jane is responsible for the management of information and advisory services to international students within the Dean of Students' Office. She represents the interests of international students at University meetings and liaises externally with organisations and agencies such as the Home Office and UKCISA (Council for International Student Affairs) to ensure international students receive accurate and up to date information. Jane is also available to help and advise individual students and their families with their queries and concerns.
Paul Hartzler (International Student Adviser) - Paul is available to offer one to one confidential advice to international students and their families across a wide range of areas including employment, childcare and personal matters. He also takes a particular responsibility for assisting students with complex immigration related questions. Jane and Paul organise and run the International Meet and Greet and Orientation programmes for our new international students at the beginning of each semester.
Lisa-Rose Moller (International Student Careers Development Advisor)- Lisa-Rose is able to give advice on a wide range of careers related issues including CVs, part-time jobs and volunteering. She will also be available to provide help and advice about student visas, particularly post-study work visas. Lisa-Rose works both in the Dean of Students' Office and in the Careers Centre as well.
Susan Peters Corbett (International Student Administrative Assistant) - Susan is responsible for keeping students up-to-date with activities and information through the ISAT email list. She is always available to speak with students to answer general questions or to discuss concerns about adjusting to life in the UK.
