We operate a flexible admissions policy in order to take account of prospective students who do not come to us directly from sixth form, and are always pleased to advise you on the most suitable way forward if you lack formal qualifications. We also welcome applications from prospective students studying towards Access qualifications, Science Foundation courses (including UEA and Open University) and BTEC courses. Each year our intake includes a good number of students progressing from these types of qualification.
Popular courses include the UEA Science Foundation Year which can be studied at either UEA or Lowestoft College. Many students also choose the access courses offered by City College Norwich, Great Yarmouth College or Lowestoft College.
Our Admissions Officer will also be able to advise you if you have alternative competencies, such as evidence of prior learning or relevant prior experience.
We require a minimum of grade C in GCSE English Language and Mathematics.
