The School of Environmental Sciences has well-established research and teaching links with many universities and research institutions world-wide, and we are constantly striving to develop more. We offer exchange programmes with universities in Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, France and Spain. The strength of our internationally renowned excellent research is enhanced through collaboration with researchers across the globe.
The School is a top-rated research establishment, receiving the highest possible research ranking in 2001, a position we have maintained and strengthened in the 2008 Assessment. The strength of our research benefits our undergraduates, through our research-led teaching programme.
We offer a range of degree programmes that enable students to pursue their interests to a high academic standard. Whether those interests are highly specific, or general, our teaching allows students a large amount of flexibility and choice.
New for 2011
The Faculty of Science is delighted to announce 33 £1000 scholarships for undergraduate students starting in September 2011, as part of the Eliahou Dangoor Scholarship Scheme.
