Pharmacy : Research Degrees

Research in Pharmacy is highly innovative in its breadth of topics. All aspects of Pharmacy-related research are covered - from molecular pharmacology and drug design, pharmaceutic technology and process, through to professional practice, service and health policy research. Our School’s research strengths encompass the totality of investigations into all aspects of drugs and pharmaceuticals.

Pharmaceutical Research within the School of Pharmacy represents a unique collaborative venture that has both depth in its individual areas as well as breadth in terms of the collaborations outlined below. Research in Pharmacy is composed of four themes that are administrative in structure and focused on established pharmaceutical and related subject matter. The four pharmaceutical themes are:


World Class Future Science

Norfolk is home to a cluster of internationally-renowned research organisations. They are working together to tackle the major challenges facing all of us in the 21st Century – the sustainability of our environment; our food supplies and healthy ageing. There are over 2500 scientists working to find realistic and practical solutions; who then have the infrastructure and support to translate these discoveries into commercially successful business.
