Environmental Sciences : Research Degrees
The school has pioneered the theory and practice of interdisciplinary research since its founding in 1967.
Research is undertaken under a set of guiding research themes, often with interdisciplinary research centres and groupings of like-minded researchers. The School benefits from excellent research facilities and has extensive national and international links with many other research and policy making bodies.
The School of Environmental Sciences is looking to recruit postgraduate research students for the 20010/11 academic year. A list of possible research projects has been compiled by academic staff in the School and this can be explored using the search facilities described below. Please note that we also welcome applications from those proposing their own research project. It is anticipated that successful applicants will start in October 2010 but some may be able to start before that date. Please contact individual supervisors for details.
