Biography

Alexandria received her MA in International Affairs from Marquette University in 2008 and her PhD in Political Science (International Relations) from the University of Kansas in 2011.  She was Visiting Assistant Professor at Northern Illinois University 2011-2012 and Assistant Professor at Cardinal Stritch University 2012-2013, before coming to UEA.

Alexandria's current research is at the intersection of human rights and security studies, focusing on how people who do not have citizenship or immigration status experience international relations.  Her work has appeared in various publications, including Security Dialogue, International Relations and Global Society.
