How much would the funding be?

  • EU applicants - funding covers full course fees only.

Faculty and School Studentships:

  • For UK and EU students funding includes a maintenance payment and covers full course fees
  • For International students funding includes a maintenance payment and covers partial courses fees (funding for course fees is for the same amount for all students, but as courses cost more for international students, it does not cover the full amount)
  • Maintenance is paid at Current AHRC rates (PDF). In 2011-12 maintenance was £13,590 per year for full-time students.

How can I apply?

  • Your application for your PhD must be received by 17 February 2012 in order to be considered for a studentship
