PBL: What’s it all about? 
The session will give you a brief practical introduction to problem based learning, a learning method exploited widely in health disciplines at UEA.

When is a pill not a pill?
This lab class will introduce you to the science and technology behind the development and manufacture of tablets.

The colour of poisoning 
In this lab class you will explore colour changes in poisoning, you will poison a heme protein, separate the protein from the poison and use spectroscopy to identify what molecule was added to your protein.

Exploring the “Nano-world”
This session will give you the opportunity to make nanoparticles, and explore some of their ‘mesoscopic’ properties.
