Many health professionals are required to demonstrate professional development throughout their careers. This can be in the form of personal or professional skills and proficiency that enables the them to perform at their best. This is known as CPD or continuing professional development.  

The School of Pharmacy with a focus on medicines have developed flexible courses that are designed to support knowledge and skills development to inform best practise and high standards of care.

Medicines Administration course for carers
If you are a carer or plan to train as a carer, this course will give you the tools required for you to administer medicines to residents. Please view the flyer for more details and the guidance document on how to apply. (Registration and fee payable, certification on completion).
