Biography

About Me / Interests

I have worked at Norwich Business School since 2004, first as an Associate Tutor and more recently as a Lecturer. My main role is Course Leader for the MSc in Brand Leadership, but I'm also an Associate Director of Enterprise, Engagement and External Relations. In this role I help run Norfolk Knowledge and the Inside Business series of talks. I am also the academic link on the NBS Advisory Board.

My teaching is focussed on brands and consumer behaviour, but I have also taught business strategy, marketing, new product development, operations management, project management and business skills. I have extensive experience of supervising Masters dissertation students.

Before joining UEA I worked with Brunel University and Loughborough University where I established and ran several Masters programmes. This included developing distance learning versions of the courses.

Before working in the university sector, I trained as an engineer and have extensive industrial experience having worked as a manufacturing manager, marketing manager, strategic planner and managing director. I undertook these roles within a number of international packaging groups. I have also worked as a consultant focusing on strategic development, change management, innovation, and technology networking.
